Free Guided Tours «Es Baluard Museu through history and architecture»

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Museum, and to celebrate, we continue our program of free guided tours for adults. This time, we invite you to explore the heritage surroundings that the Museum is part of.
The tour will begin on the terraces of the Museum, where we will talk about the Renaissance bastion and the history of the site, from its military origins to the inauguration of Es Baluard Museu. We will walk along the Passeig de Ronda and also focus on the contemporary architecture of the building. We will end the tour by visiting the large 17th-century cistern and the air raid shelter of the former artillery barracks of the Sant Pere bastion.
We invite you to learn about the history of the Sant Pere bastion through its architecture and heritage environment, so that we can envision its future together.
