18:45  Product or Marketing: the timeless saga of shared OKRs

In tech businesses, there are often no clear lines between the scopes of Marketing and Product teams. Most of the attempts to draw them are considered as unwillingness to be a team players. What does sound very nice for the corporate culture doesn’t really always work operationally. Specifically when it comes to performance review, right?

Let’s talk about a sore subject:

  • If sales are going well, then the product is good, but if not, then it’s poor marketing?
  • If everything is about the product approach in marketing, then what is the non-product approach then?
  • If we’re so into joint work, then how can we own OKRs individually and team-wise?
  • Or influence the results respectfully?

And in the end… whose orbit does serve others in this coordinate system?


19:40  A practical guide on building generative AI solutions

Solutions that can be built on generative AI fall into three categories: based on ready-made services, fine-tuning/guardrails on pre-trained models, and further training/retraining of foundation models. In the presentation, we will compare these solutions based on the costs of their creation (development volume, specific competencies required, necessary prerequisites, infrastructure costs) and associated risks (validation of results, data privacy) while providing examples of real business cases (in the industry and within our company). All attendees will receive a practical guide on which features are worthwhile to pursue with generative AI and how to choose a specific implementation.
