St. Patrick's Day Ball 2025

We are delighted to invite you to our 7th St. Patrick's Day Gala Ball in the Westin Palace on Friday the 7th March 2025.

For more than ten years, this event has been a cornerstone of the Madrid social calendar which brings the Spanish and Irish communities together to enjoy an evening of fine dining and entertainment. Beidh craic agus ceol ann.

The celebration of the St. Patrick's Day is only possible through our generous sponsors and donors that celebrates the best of Irish and Spanish food and drink in the fitting surroundings of the Westin Palace. This community initiative is delivered every year by a team of dedicated volunteers from within the Spanish-Irish Business Network with all proceeds and funds raised destined for a selected Spanish and Irish charity.

Chosen Charities / Nuestro apoyo a causas benéficas

This year, the selected charities centre on two organisations dedicated to the support of children with neurological disorders.

Madreperla - www.madreperla.org

Madreperla supports the physical and emotional development and well-being of children with neurological conditions in hospital. It provides psychological support to children and carers to humanise the experience of facing challenging medical scenarios, working within neurology and ICU departments with an effective approach for guiding families through the most challenging of times.

Crann - www.cranncentre.ie

The Crann Centre in Cork supports families and provides unique intergenerational care for those living with neuro-physical disabilities and their family members with access to experts and tailored care. The centre delivers life-long support to people of all ages living with congenital, progressive or acquired neuro-physical disabilities and their partners, parents and siblings across Munster.

With your generous support, these charities will be able to provide additional support to families across Spain and Munster.

What is the dress code - is a dress suit obligatory?

We encourage attendees to observe the black tie formal dress code but also accept evening suits and cocktail dresses.

Is it possible to book a table seperately?

If you wish to book a table, please purchase 10 tickets or more and provide the name of the lead guest in the box provided or contact admin@sibn.es directly.

Can I specify who I am seated with?

Please specify the names of persons in the box provided at the time of bookings. The ball committee endeavours each year to place guests with preferred guests but cannot guarantee that separate bookings are achieved due to the size of tables and possible permutations.

How much of the proceeds are provided to the charities?

The St. Patrick Day's Ball is a volunteer-led event with all proceeds provided to the charities enabled through the generous donations of food and beverages.

Who are the organisers?

The biannual gala is organised by a team of volunteers from the Spanish-Irish Business Network/Asociación Empresarial Hispano Irlandés. The ball committee is formed before each ball and members vary edition to edition.

Organizador

The Spanish-Irish Business Network (SIBN) was launched in January 2008 with the primary purpose is to serve as a dynamic network of companies and individuals working to promote business links between Spain and Ireland. Since then it has grown to an association with over 1200 members active through its regular events and social networks like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter that bring together the Irish business community in Spain.
