Details

The Ferrer Ridge circular route, starting and finishing at Restaurante Coll de Rates, is a lesser-known gem in the shadow of the famous Sierra Bernia, offering a more intimate yet equally thrilling mountain experience. We're offering this hike due to popular demand, as it's an excellent choice for hikers looking to try their hand at scrambling or experience ridge walking for the first time.

The ridge spans approximately 5 km of rugged terrain, with most of the ridge featuring fairly easy scrambling, making it approachable yet adventurous. It’s a fantastic introduction to ridge traverses, culminating in a short, narrow ridge section for those seeking to push their boundaries in a safe and supportive setting. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Marina Alta and Marina Baixa, all while immersed in the wild and untamed beauty of the Sierra del Ferrer.

With plenty of new ridge routes planned for this season, this hike is the perfect opportunity to see if you're ready to push beyond and take on even more exciting challenges in the mountains!
🇪🇸
