Founders Fundamentals: Private International Financing for your startup

Each month, BFH organizes a session called Founders Fundamentals, where we cover cross-cutting topics in the financial world at an introductory level.

These sessions are aimed at professionals, executives, middle management, and students interested in the subject. At the end of each session, participants and speakers can stay at the BFH facilities to work, chat, and network.

Elena Emma: Cofounder of ELECAR PARTNERS, international financial advisor, startup entrepreneur raising 1.7MM in international markets, senior coach and lecturer at several institutions including TedX

Carlos Hernandez: Cofounder of ELECAR PARTNERS,. international financial advisor, entrepreneur, strong background in Education as Master Program Manager and lecturer at several institutions.

The session has the aim of providing an overview of startups' private international financing.

It also addresses common issues when startups seek financing from private sources, such as the startup stage, its valuation, and the investor’s entry and exit strategies.

A key focus will be to explain the profile of US private investors and how Spanish Startups may access them.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into securing international funding and scaling their ventures.

Both speakers have extensive experience in global finance, both as consultants and in their ventures, which provides useful knowledge for startups.
