HOW TO USE DOUGHNUT ECONOMICS WITH BUSINESS

This session is for anyone interested in using Doughnut Economics with businesses. It is for consultants, coaches, business networks, business incubators, business schools and anyone who works with business leaders and would like to use Doughnut Economics in their work. People from within companies can also join to understand ways they can use Doughnut Economics to drive transformational discussions within their business.The session will be run by Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL). The facilitator will be Erinch Sahan (DEAL's business & enterprise lead), supported by Carlota Sanz (DEAL's co-founder). The workshop will cover:

• An introduction to Doughnut Economics, and how practitioners and businesses can engage with it
• A detailed description of the Doughnut Design for Business tool, including running through some of the activities
• A discussion among participants on ways to most effectively run these workshops

What is the Doughnut Design for Business tool
The Doughnut Design for Business tool was created by the DEAL through pilot workshops that included over 300 businesses. It is a guide to running workshops that allows companies to understand and engage with Doughnut Economics. It is a journey into transforming the deep design of business (e.g. their ownership and governance) to ensure the business can pursue the strategies, practices and business models needed to help humanity into the Doughnut. The tool is based on two core questions:

1. How does the design of your business block transformative action?
2. How could a redesign of your business unlock transformative action?
