🎤 Speakers:
Marta del Amo – Technical Advisor at the Spanish National Scientific Advisory Office (ONAC). A science journalist with over 15 years of experience in science communication, she was the Editor-in-Chief of MIT Technology Review en Español and Editorial Coordinator of Retina at El País.

Eric PiagetScience Diplomacy Coordinator at EUTOPIA and Visiting Research Fellow at UNU-CRIS. An expert in public and science diplomacy, with a focus on regional integration and international relations.


🎤 Event Format

This will be an interactive roundtable discussion, where our speakers will debate how scientists can better influence political decision-making and how these relationships are becoming more professionalized. There will also be a space for audience participation and Q&A.

The event will be held in English to ensure international participation.

After the roundtable, we invite you to join a networking session with snacks and drinks, where you can exchange ideas with the speakers and other attendees interested in science diplomacy.
