Join us for Nature Connect!
Do you love being out in nature? Do you want to ignite your curiosity about the natural systems where you live?
Join us at Umstead State Park for a morning of guided activities to connect with and explore nature while meeting other nature-lovers and naturalists.
We will take time together to appreciate the sights and sounds of our natural environment and begin to think about how we can bring that inspiration into our lives!
In order to reduce waste, we ask that you bring some materials with you.
What you should bring:
- your favorite lanyard/name tag to reuse
- notebook/sketch pad
- writing/sketching utensils
- water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, hat, rain coat (if needed)
- a small blanket if you would like one for sitting on the ground
