Paris is known as the ‘City of Light’ because it was the first city to equip its streets and buildings with street lighting. Join us on this night tour and discover the beauty of the capital when its monuments are illuminated at dusk with an local guide in English.

Our walking tour starts at the Opéra Garnier and we will see some of the main monuments and places of Paris with the most beautiful illuminations of the city, such as the Madeleine, an impressive church whose architecture will remind us of Roman temples, or the Place de la Concorde, a key place during the revolutionary period and presided over by its emblematic obelisk.

We will walk along the Champs Elysées, a triumphal promenade, the scene of important historical events, and we will also see the monumental setting of the Grand Palais of Paris, the Petit Palais, the Pont Alexandre III and the National Palace of Les Invalides, where Napoleon's remains are kept.

The Night Tour of Paris ends at the beautiful Pont de l'Alma, which crosses the Seine River. Built in the mid-19th century and designed by Hyacinthe Gariel, this bridge was inaugurated for the famous Expo of 1900 and was intended to ease the flow of people across the river. It underwent a major reconstruction between 1970 and 1974 to widen the width of the bridge and prevent it from sinking when the river rose. The bridge became world famous for the tragic accident that killed Lady Di.
